One More Prayer for Children

Yesterday I shared a prayer for children with you and asked you to join me in praying for children as they begin school this year for them to grow in true wisdom which is from God. Today, as I write this, I was listening to a new report about a new drug which children are taking; and sadly, are dying from. Children are faced with so many difficult choices - who to believe, drugs, friends, standing for what is right and so much more. I can not be at school with my grandson and with the children from my church, but not only can God be with them, He is with them . . . and it is so much better for Him to be with them than for me to be with them!

So, today I'm sharing another prayer and am asking you to once again join me in praying for children as they are faced with so many difficult choices . . .

Psalm 32:8 - "I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.
Proverbs 3:5,6 - "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."

Dear God, on this day I ask You to please help Josiah, the children in my church and children everywhere make the choice to learn from You and to follow in the way You direct them. Please help them know You are guiding them because You love them and You keep Your loving eye on them! As they face choices; some easy and some difficult, please give them the courage to make right choices as they trust in You with all their heart. Please help them make the choice to submit to You rather than think they know what is best and to follow the path You point them to! Thank You for being with them, Amen!
