Here in the USA we take having clean, safe water for granted. It is as simple as turning a faucet in our home for us to have water. This is not the case in many places around the world and certainly not the case in Haiti. The availability of clean, safe drinking water was an issue in Haiti before the earthquake and it became an even greater issue after the quake. Samaritan's Purse has been involved in many aspects of bringing help to Haiti and one of them has been bringing safe, clean water to the people. See this link for an article about just one community where they stepped up and provided a community water filtration system which has changed and saved lives!
Most of us can not make the trip to Haiti to physically help Samaritan's Purse serve and reach the people, but we can involve our children in projects to raise money to send to Samaritan's Purse so they can continue to meet the physical needs of people with the goal of introducing them to Jesus! Take some time to think about what you can do to "Put Feet to Their Faith" and involve your children in a project to help the people of Haiti through Samaritan's Purse!
