I'm Giving Away - "Furious" CD from Jeremy Riddle! - Family Pick!

September 20th Jeremy Riddle releases his new CD - Furious. He says, "It’s hard to come up with words which depict the magnitude of Christ’s love – the depth and width of it. Furious doesn't work outside of the context of love; we tend to translate the word as angry, but I see it as a super-powerful force; stronger, deeper, broader than our vocabulary can fully describe."  In January 2011, the former jr. high youth pastor came on staff as worship community pastor at Bethel Church in Redding, California - the most beautiful place on the face of the earth (I lived in Redding for a few years) - where Jeremy facilitates a worship community of over 200 people within the church.

There are 12 songs on this CD - Fall Afresh, Furious, Love Came Down, One Thing Remains, Acquitted, You Are Good, Walk In The Promise, One Thirst, Glory To The Lamb, The Lord Is My Shepherd, Here, Always - each with a strong focus on God's love and worshiping Him. I particularly liked The Lord Is My Shepherd - "Let the pain, in my life  - Find it's healing, in Your eyes  - Every hurt, every loss  - Pull me closer, to Your heart  - - - - Every day, I make a choice  - To be led, only by your voice  - To be bold and unafraid  - - You are proving yet again to me,  - You are there, You are there, Always there" Who of us do not need to be reminded through every pain in our life God will pull us closer to His heart and every day we have to make the choice to be led only by Him because He is always there! Or as he sings in One Thing Remains - "Stronger than the power of the grave  - One thing… Remains  - - On and on and on and on it goes  - And I never, ever, have to be afraid  - One thing remains - - Your love never fails, never gives up" We all need to be reminded stronger than anything God's love remains and goes on and one so we never, ever have to be afraid because God never gives up on us!


These songs are wonderful for our own personal time with God and will make wonderful new choices for singing with others as we praise God together! As you listen to this songs with your family, talk together about the words and what they mean.
