VBS 2012 - Top Pick for Setting . . .

We are only nine days from the beginning of my Top Ten VBS Countdown for 2012, so today I thought I'd announce my Top Pick for Setting for VBS 2012! We have a nice variety of settings for VBS 2012 . . . some are familiar VBS settings and others are different and unique, but all of them are well developed and no matter which one you select, the children who attend your VBS will enjoy the "setting" for your VBS!

My runner-up setting for 2012 is LifeWay's Amazing Wonders Aviation VBS where kids learn God's power is amazing and they can trust Him!  I love the way LifeWay takes kids “around the world” so they can “see” some of the Amazing places God created . . . Victoria Falls, the Northern Lights, the Matterhorn, the Great Barrier Reef, the Grand Canyon and Paricutin Volcano. What an interesting and exciting "trip"! Great fun!  


So . . . my Top Pick for 2012 VBS Setting is . . . Sky from Group Publishing where kids learn everything is possible with God! This VBS caught my eye right away because the setting is so unique and because Group went all out in providing resources from Bruce Barry to help churches decorate in a big and really fun way for Sky! They walk you step-by-step through the process of "building" clouds for amazing backdrops and show you how to make and add planes, kites, balloons and more for a setting which will amaze kids and adults! I love how creative and fun the Sky VBS setting is . . . it is sure to capture kids' attention and imagination and help draw them in to each activity where they will hear, see and experience the daily Bible point to help them know everything is possible with God and they can trust God!
