What Will the Coming Months Hold for About the Children's Department?

As you know, the month of January I focused on VBS with reviews, side-by-side comparison charts and posts covering all things VBS - it has been a busy month! So, what will the coming months hold for About the Children's Department? Well, all of February I'll be focusing on family ministry with posts about family ministry, how to evaluate your family ministry, begin a family ministry and how to make a lasting impact on families in your church and community. I'll review resources and have some guest posts all about how to equip, support and encourage parents and build families! Please join in the conversation all month long!

The month of March I'll be focusing on safety issues in our children's ministry and will provide information and ideas to help you plan a month of recruiting in May! In April I'll be once again looking at curriculum resources for Sunday School with reviews and my side-by-side comparison charts. In May I'll be looking at ideas for a summer of ministry which engages children and families in and out of our churches and in June I'll be focusing on supporting and encouraging our volunteers. In addition to all these things, each month I'll share a "Put Feet to Their Faith" ministry focus/service project idea, give-aways and more!
