Another Resource for Families - 150 Quick Questions to Get Your Kids Talking - I'm Giving One Away!

I'm delighted for the opportunity to share another resource you could recommend to the parents in your church . . . and I will be giving one away!

150 Quick Questions to Get Your Kids Talking
Author - Mary E. DeMuth
Publisher - Harvest House

Favorite Features -
  • book has 150 open-ended questions designed to prompt lively discussions for the entire family
  • intro does a great job of explaining "conversational parenting" and how it helps parents know their children's hearts and minds
  • book has ten chapters and each chapter has fifteen questions and each chapter begins with a few thoughts about the topic
  • some questions are silly, some are serious - all will make people think and generate conversations
  • book ends with ten ways to have your house be a home where your kids want to be!
Grab this book and sit down with your family - preferably at the family dinner table . . . and if you are not eating at least five meals a week as a family, change you schedule and do whatever it takes to have at least five meals a week as a family - pick a topic and question and let the conversation begin! Encourage parents in your ministry so they understand how essential it is for them to engage their children in conversation . . . and be sure you are doing this with your own family so you can set the example and share your own experiences!

Harvest House sent me one of these books to review and another to give away!
