Worship KidStyle is written with the goal of intentionally engaging children so they are able to remember, understand and live God's Word for genuinely changed lives. If you are looking for a Large Group/Small Group curriculum with a focus on worship, this curriculum is well worth taking a look at to see if it may be a good "fit" for your ministry! LifeWay says, "Worship KidStyle puts a whole new spin on kids’ worship. It lets kids worship like kids, with fun music videos with motions, cool arts and crafts, attention-holding, life-application videos, and more . . . we designed it just for kids!"
Our church is currently using this curriculum in sunday school. I am a grade 1&2 sunday school teacher and have really enjoyed the different ideas for crafts and games! But our church is now changing from one service to two and I would like curriculum that offers a balance of large group time at the begining (drama, music and maybe video or object lesson)and then brake off into small groups to dig deep into the word. The kids then can have the best of both worlds.
ReplyDeleteThe curriculum makes mention of a large game mat in several places, but I can't seem to find it on Lifeway's page. Any ideas what they are talking about?
ReplyDeleteTry contacting LifeWay or ask your local Christian Book store if they handle LifeWay curriculum - they might know, too.
