Resurrection Eggs

DIY Resurrection Eggs & Easter Story Book Printables at lifeyourway.net I recently had the opportunity to review Resurrection Eggs, so with Resurrection Sunday just a couple days away, I thought I'd tell you all about them! Resurrection Eggs are a resource from Family Life; they say, "Resurrection Eggs is a set of 12 plastic eggs which help you tell the story of the resurrection to children in a way which captures their attention and imagination."

Favorite Features -
  • each box contains, 1 durable plastic egg carton, 12 plastic eggs, 11 unique objects to illustrate the Easter story and 1 bilingual booklet (English and Spanish)
  • provides a hands-on and engaging way for children to learn about the resurrection of Jesus
  • great resource for families to use to establish a family tradition where each Resurrection Sunday, the children can find the eggs and then hear the account of Jesus' resurrection - fun way to keep the focus of the day on what Jesus did for us!
  • fun tool for use in children's ministry!
Family Life says, "Watch Easter come to life in little hands!  Resurrection Eggs is a set of 12 plastic eggs which hold objects related to Christ's crucifixion and resurrection, plus a story booklet.  The booklet helps you tell the story of the resurrection to children using the eggs and the objects they contain.  By explaining the meaning of each object, you share the gospel with children in a way which captures their attention and imagination." The eggs contain, a donkey, coins, cup, praying hands, leather whip, crown of thorns, nails in the cross, die, spear, linen cloth, stone and an empty egg!
