The Berenstain Bears return in this fun story which encourages children to respect their mother and father! The bears are off on a hut for honey, but end up having the opportunity to help Papa Bear get "unstuck" from a fence, find and follow a bee, get out of the creek when he falls in and away from a bull. They help him get unstuck from a hollow log and pull him out of a boggy bog, then cross a lake and find a honey tree! At this point it is Papa bear's turn to help the little bears! This Berenstain Bears book is sure to bring a smile to the faces of children and grandparents . . . parent's too! The Berenstain Bears Honey Hunt Helpers is a great book for the church library - and for a family's home library, too!
As you read it with the children in your ministry - and encourage parents and grandparents to read to their children/grandchildren, be sure to talk with them about what they can do to be "wise sons" - or daughters - and "bring joy to their fathers"! Talk with them about being helpful and working together . . . you could even make your own story book about a time when they were helpful!
