You may or may not know in addition to writing About the Children's Department, I also write another blog, grandma's cookie jar. The goal of this blog is, "just as grandma's cookie jar should always be full of good things, this blog will be full of good ideas, information, activities and reviews of things to help grandma . . . and grandpa, mom and dad too . . . pass on a heritage of faith to the children in their lives!" I'm working on a special series of posts which I'll run in the month of August where I'll be taking a children's museum "tour". I love children's museums! They are wonderful places for children and families to explore and learn together . . . and to have great fun! I have free passes to several children's museums across the country and need people who are willing to take these passes and go visit their local children's museum. I need them to email me about what they enjoyed the most after their visit. I will write about their visit in August when I'll be giving away more free passes!
