Focus for August - I Know There is No One Like God - Part 2!

A couple weeks ago I wrote again about what we focus on in children's ministry and looked at a focus for August in Psalm 86:8,9 and shared a prayer to help us focus on knowing there is no one like God!

So, today, as we think about honoring God because there is no one like Him, let's also think about the following -

• Do I live as though I really believe there is no one like God and nothing compares with His works?
• Do I approach ministry knowing there is no one like God and nothing compares with His works, or do I approach ministry thinking it depends on me?
• Am I intentional about being ready to give honor to God throughout my day?
• Do I watch for the many ways - big and small - which showcase how Great God is?

There is no one like God! Nothing compares with God and what He has done! As you face all you need to do to be ready for the Fall ministries, keep in mind today there is no one like God and nothing compares with Him and what He has done! Be intentional about watching for all the many ways - big and small - which showcase how great God is!

Look again at Psalm 86:8,9 - "There's no one quite like you among the gods, O Lord, and nothing to compare with your works. All the nations you made are on their way, ready to give honor to you, O Lord," There is no one like God and nothing compares with His works! Make this your prayer as you go through the month of August -

"Dear God on this day I want to give honor to You, O Lord, because there is no one like You and nothing compares to Your works! As I go through this day please lift my heart in praise to You as You show me all the many ways, big and small, which showcase how great You are! Please remind me when I'm frustrated or when I worry You are great and nothing compares to Your works! Thank You, Amen!"
