- This story tells about Princess Hope and how she is willing to sell everything she has to buy her grandmother's lost ring - fun way to retell Jesus' parable of the Pearl of Great Price found in Matthew 13:44-45
- beautiful illustrations
- provides opportunities for families to talk about the most valuable thing of all - knowing and walking with Jesus!
Little girls will be delighted with these princess stories and parents will enjoy the opportunity they provide to share some of Jesus' parables with their daughters! I like the way the authors create anticipation . . . will Princess Hope be able to raise enough money to buy the ring? If she does, what will happen next? Is there more to the ring than Princess Hope realizes? How do Princess Hope's sisters help her? If she sells all her things to buy the ring, will she be glad she did so? Have fun reading this story with your daughters . . . and be sure to talk about the important messages and how it "re-tells" one of Jesus' own parables!
