Just as parents often look for resources they can use with their children at home, so do grandparents. If you have any grandmothers who might wonder about books they could use with their grandchildren, take a look at My Grandma & Me.

My Grandma and Me

  • 26 Rhyming Devotions and four Passing Down the Faith short "studies" for grandma to use with her grandchildren

If you and your grandchildren like poems and rhymes, this book could give you some simple devotions you could use with young preschoolers covering topics including creation, God's love, trusting God, prayer, the Bible, helping, sharing, loving others, being thankful, praising God, telling others and more. The "Passing Down the Faith" studies cover the Ten Commandments, Psalm 23, the Lord's Prayer and a prayer for grandmothers. Simple and short this book will give grandmas some ideas about how to have important conversations with her grandchildren.

Not only did Tyndale send me one book to review, but they are making another available for me to give away on my other blog, grandma's cookie jar (USA only). Check grandma's cookie jar for details on the give-away which will be on October 9, 2012.
