As I've been saying, for the past several years VeggieTales has released Christmas stories . . . some of which have become my favorite Veggie stories! This Veggie story covers timely issues with care, such as families losing their jobs and being in need of other's "joyful giving". It has a strong messages about the true meaning of Christmas, the true story of Saint Nicholas and how children - and families - can "give this Christmas away" by helping those in need!
In this veggie story, children - and parents and grandparents - have the opportunity to hear about Saint Nicholas and why he is part of Christmas to this day. Children will be introduced to a new Veggie Character - Nicky the Pepper - and they are sure to enjoy the new silly song - Donuts for Benny!
This new Veggie movie has a lot to offer and gives families much to talk about - particularly about giving and praying for those in need who you know and who you do not know! Excellent new song - "Give This Christmas Away" is certain to become a favorite. I especially appreciate the emphasis on giving to others and helping others! My child reviewers liked how the Veggie Characters ended up helping their friend!
