Book Review - Nothing is Impossible with God - I'm Giving Some Away!

There are times in all of our lives when we feel weak, have questions about our faith and need to rest in God's power. A point in our life where we move from knowing God's Word tells us nothing is impossible for God to where we believe it because we've experienced it in our own life. This author - Rose Marie Miller, shares her story of how she moved from being a person who was trapped in moralism and legalism - "a religion of duty, rules and self-control through human willpower." -  to a person who was freed by the Gospel. This message of how the "Gospel can change anybody" is a message we all need to hear!

Nothing is Impossible with God
Author - Rose Marie Miller
Publisher - New Growth Press

Favorite Features -
  • Rose Marie shares her own story as well as the ups and downs she has been through as she came to understand she has a Heavenly Father and isn't an orphan
  • strong message about the power of forgiveness - love the story of Esther
  • shares how a critical, unforgiving attitude can keep you from experiencing the forgiveness and acceptance God offers
  • powerful accounts of people who chose to accept Christ's righteousness for their own and how it changed them
  • call to set aside rules and following them and accept instead the gift Christ offers of His work on the cross
  • love the challenge to not just "adjust the volume control, but to change the station"!
  • much to think about in regards to how to pray
  • interesting looks at Eve, Sarah, Hannah and Mary
This book walks you through Rose Marie's life, struggles, challenges, losses and how she learned to live in God's grace. There is a lot of "topics" touched on; maybe a shorter book which focused on one or two at a time would have been a good idea, but there is a lot of solid information which will challenge, encourage and help those who read it.

New Growth Press says, "Nothing is Impossible with God also gives insight into the themes of living a lifestyle of forgiveness, hopeful discipleship, what it means to be content, and lessons in how to pray. Readers will also learn about four women of the Bible who had firsthand experience with the God of the Impossible."
