Sneak Peek VBS 2013 - Turn It Up! from Orange!

I have another "sneak peek" at VBS 2013 for you . . . Turn it UP! from Orange! They are doing something new this year with a plan to partner with parents throughout the week to make a greater impact on the kids in your church and community with a special Family Experience at the end of the week! Orange says, "TURN IT UP takes a journey through the Bible to give context for God’s Big Story. This summer, help kids discover how they can be a part of the story when they turn up the power of God’s love in their life. "  Let's take a look at their scope and sequence -

Biblical Content for Children

• Creation and The Fall of Man (Genesis 1; 3:1-24; 6:5-8)
• God’s Promise to Abraham (Genesis 12:1-7; 15:1-6; 13-14; 22:1-15)
• The Israelites Grumble (Exodus 6:2-8; 16:2-3;17:3; Numbers 14:2-4; I Samuel 8:1-22)
• Jesus Birth, Life and Death (The Gospels)
• The Road to Emmaus (Luke 24:13 – 35)
• *The Mission (Matthew 28:16 – 20; Acts 1:4 – 11)

Take your preschoolers on an amazing journey through the Bible. Introduce them to the never ending love of their heavenly Father as they discover that God’s Big Story is all about God’s BIG love.
