Kid's Music - Go Fish - I'm Giving Some Away!

As you may remember, my top pick for VBS music 2013 is Go Fish, so today I'm delighted for the opportunity to share their new CD with you - which has several of their VBS songs on it . . . and give some away!

Go Fish's new CD - Kids Music - has 10 songs on it . . . all of which are sure to get kids dancing, singing and thinking about their walk with God! Check these songs . . . 

1. My God - "My God is so big and so strong and so mighty -there's nothing my God can not do!" This absolutely is the message we want our children to know! I love how Go Fish took this old camp song and added to it to make a song which reminds us all of Who God Is and of the fact there is nothing our God can not do!
2. Glory - "What made me wrong Jesus made right And when I think about the cross I could sing all night - Gonna give all the glory, give the glory to our King" This is the essence of the message of the cross - give all the glory to our King!
3. Fruit of the Spirit - "It’s easy to get mad When things don’t your way It’s easy to get angry When you’re having a bad day It’s easy to be mean When others do you wrong It’s easy to complain When you just can’t get along But there’s a better way The Spirit can help you when you pray"  - I love this song which helps children not only learn the Fruit of the Spirit, but helps them also learn how the Fruit lives in their lives and changes the way they live every day!
4. Praise Your Name - "When You give me much I will praise You And when You take away I will praise Your name With my last breath I will praise You For all eternity I will praise Your Name" I love every part of this song, but these lines are especially powerful!
5. Walk with God - "I’ve got a new way to walk I’m not on my own I’m walkin’ with God Until I’m all the way home I’m ready to move I’ll go where He leads With God at my side I have all that I need I’m gonna walk, walk, walk, walk with God I’m gonna walk, walk, walk" This grandma wants my grandsons to know with God at their sides they have all they will ever need! I love this song - the message of how when they have much and when they experience loss they can praise God is one I want them to know and hold on to as they go through life! What a powerful song!
6. Jump - "Don’t be shy Bring all of your friends To hear that God is great And His love never ends And if you’re lookin’ for the truth And you know you need grace God’s Word is alive And It is here in this place It’s in our music - yeah In our praises - yeah In our voices - yeah" This song will have kids dancing and praising and at the same time it will challenge them to share the amazing news of God's love with their friends! 
7. Gotta Move - "If you wanna bear fruit Then you’ve got to move Get up and get groovin’  If you know the truth Don’t miss your chance Put on your shoes ‘Cuz if you wanna bear fruit Then you gotta move, move, move" What a great challenge! If we want to bear fruit we gotta move! Plus, great music and overall sound for this song is sure to have children dancing up a storm!

9. Shackles - "Take the shackles off my feet so I can dance I just wanna praise you I just wanna praise you You broke the chains now I can lift my hands And I'm gonna praise you I'm gonna praise you" I'm very happy to see this song on this cd because it was one of my favorites from VBS 2012! 
10. Kids Music - "You can keep the fame You can keep the glory We’re fishers of men And that’s the end of the story Boom, shack-a-lack, bring the beat back We make kids music and that’s a matter of fact" What a fun song and fun way to "touch bases" on all of Go Fish's kid's songs!

As Go Fish says, "The Go Fish guys have once again redefined what it means to make music for kids! Your children will be praising God with songs like My God, Glory, and Praise Your Name.  The air guitars will be rockin' with Fruit Of The Spirit and Kids Music! If you think you know what "kids music" sounds like...think again!  Crank up the stereo in your minivan and let the fun begin!" I couldn't agree more! This is absolutely what kids music should sound like! Kids Music is sure to become a favorite!
