The Dr. Seuss Quote for today . . . "Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It's not!" This quote makes me think of a few questions . . . "What do I care about?" "Who do I care about?" "How much do I care?" "What am I willing to DO in regards to what and who I care about?" I John 3:16-18 says, "This is how we have come to know love: He laid down His life for us. We should also lay down our lives for our brothers If anyone has this world's goods and sees his brother in need, but closes his eyes to his need - how can God's love reside in him? Little children, we must not love with word or speech, but with truth and action." Jesus cares about us . . . a "whole awful lot", but He wasn't willing to just talk about how much He cared.
