KidMo's Lil' K and Johnny Rogers are written with the goal of intentionally engaging children so they are able to remember, understand and live God's Word for genuinely changed lives. If you are looking for a video/dvd based curriculum, this curriculum is well worth taking a look at to see if it may be a good "fit" for your ministry! Kidmo says they are committed to developing resources which, "initiate personal, social and cultural transformation by connecting kids with a Biblical worldview. We believe kids are world-changers and their spiritual foundation is set before the age of 12. By fostering a Biblical worldview within them, we are initiating global transformation for years to come.

Bonnie Deroski shared her experience with KidMo - see what she has to say . . .

"We use KidMo for our Sunday evening KidsClub for 1st thru 5th Graders.
  • What were you looking for in curriculum?
I wanted to find a fun curriculum with a lot of life application for our KidsClub.  I wanted it to be exciting enough that kids would want to bring their friends.
  • Why did you choose the curriculum you chose?
I had used KidMo in the past for Sunday School and had been very happy with it.  I had a closet full of programs and was ready to introduce the next generation to KidMo.
  • What are you most happy about with the curriculum you chose?
I love how it engages the kids in worship, especially the boys. I love getting the prayer cards and MAP Books back.  Helps me to know what’s going on with the kids and have an opportunity to pray for them.  I love how they are bringing their friends.
  • What do your volunteers like the most about the curriculum you chose?
I am able to bring in new people each week as Guest Memory Verse Judges and it serves as a great introduction to what we do in Children’s Ministry.  It also connects the kids with people who wouldn’t ordinarily serve in the kids ministry. I find I have to rework the QCards (discussion guidelines) to include the bible story, but the discussion questions are great and thought provoking.
  • What do your kids like the most about the curriculum you chose?
They love the competition aspect of the program.  They find the videos to be engaging and funny.  They love the motions and actions for the memory verse.  They jump into the MAP Books (take home worksheets) and want to fill them out before they leave class.  They also love the prayer cards they fill out and turn in.
  • Does the curriculum you chose engage the children in your ministry?
Yes, see above.
  • Have you received any feedback from parents?
I invite parents to participate as Guest Judges and they’ve all really loved the program.  Kids are bringing back their MAP Books so I know they’re interacting with their parents over them.
  • What would you have liked to see in the curriculum you chose - what would you like to see the publishers add to this curriculum?
I would love for there to be commitment cards as part of the printouts.  Then we could have a discussion point for the next week as we gather.
  • Are children able to understand, remember and live God's Word from using this curriculum? Do you see changed lives?
They are retaining the bible verses for several weeks, and remember the messages from week to week.  It encourages them to live out what they’ve learned in the lesson."
