Appreciation and Christmas Idea . . .

I love appreciating volunteers! And, when I can get two appreciations from one thing . . . well, that is even better! Think about this idea . . .
  • On a particular Sunday, cover the classroom doors with butcher paper
  • Provide crayons and markers so as parents drop off/pick up their kids, they can take a moment to trace their child's hand and leave a note to the teachers of appreciation!
  • Take photos of the doors and give each teacher a photo of their door.
  • Take the photos and print them onto paper or clear transparencies - make them a size which will fit in or on an ornament
  • Make ornaments with the photos for each teacher
  • Give the ornaments to the teachers for Christmas - this is a way to help them always remember the appreciation from their class/parents
There are lots of different ways you can make an ornament with the photos - decopage, place a photo in a clear ornament, etc. So, what do you think? How might you make an ornament from a photo?
