God is Bigger than we Think!

Let's get honest for a moment. I mean, really honest. How do you see God? Do you see Him as Someone Who is actually detached from what is happening in your life and ministry? Do you see Him as the powerful God, but when it comes to getting things done in your life and ministry, it really is up to you to do it? 

If you do not actually think these things, do you live as though you do? Do you worry about the things you need to do at your church and in your life? Do you spend a lot of time - or any time - trying to figure out what you will do to make things work?

It is easy to be focused on the work which needs to be done in your life and ministry and before you know it, you are acting as if you believe it is up to you to get the things done which need to be done. It is easy for our view of God to become "small" because whenever we are focused on what we need to do to make things "work", our view of God is not where it needs to be.

Yes, there are things we need to do, but the good news is our God is BIG! He is not detached from what is happening in our lives and ministries! He is powerful and the truth is, when it comes to getting things done in our lives and ministries, it really is up to Him!

Spend time this week in your Bible and ask God to give you a new view of Him and how Big He really is! Ask God to help you know the truth; He is Bigger than we think and is able to do so much more than we can imagine!
