I've said I was thankful for God and shared the song, Life of Praise by Casting Crowns, and I'm thankful for the truth God forgives and shared one of my favorite songs; Before the Throne of God Above by Go Fish! Today, I'm thankful our God hears and answers our prayers!
Just stop and think about this for a moment. Our God; the Creator of the universe, hears us when we pray! We all have had the experience of having a person not listen to us because they were too busy, or just didn't care to listen. If anyone is certainly busy, it has to be God, yet, He hears us when we pray and answers our prayers! Look at these verses . . .
- Psalms 34:15 (NASB) The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous And His ears are open to their cry.

2 Chronicles 7:14-15 (ESV) If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land. Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayer that is made in this place.
- Psalms 66:19-20 (NASB) But certainly God has heard; He has given heed to the voice of my prayer. Blessed be God, Who has not turned away my prayer Nor His lovingkindness from me.
Our God hears and answers our prayers! This absolutely is enough to leave us singing our prayers to God at all times! Knowing He hears and answers my prayers brings me comfort and strength and causes me to want to praise Him!
