VBS Give-Away - Arrow Island Kit!

I'm happy today to announce another VBS give-away . . . Regular Baptist Press is giving me
one of the VBS kits for one of you to win! On Arrow Island, "children will learn to make good choices and discover the importance of choosing obedience, godly friends, kindness, courage and active faith." With a strong evangelism focus and a new emphasis on equipping children to go and do so they are able to live what they learn, Arrow Island is an excellent resource for VBS, Summer Sundays, Mission Outreach, Mission conferences and many other settings where you might use it in your church and community! You'll find my full review of Arrow Island at this link.

If you live in the USA, are over the age of 18 and would like to be included in the drawing for the Arrow Island VBS kit - which will be on February 7, 2014, please comment below to let me know how choosing to follow God has changed your life; for me, this choice has brought me so much joy! Serving and following God is not a burden; rather, it is the source for joy!

In addition if you have followed on Google Friend Connect, followed by liking on facebook with the tab in the "Find us on Facebook" box ON THE BLOG or at this link (not just liking the post) and/or have followed About the Children's Department by email you will receive one entry for each of these which you have done. Plus, if you "share" this post, you'll receive another entry (please let me know if you share). This will help me be able to draw names from among people who would like to win the Arrow Island VBS kit and it gives you several ways to enter the give-away! Thank you for reading About the Children's Department and for sharing it with the people you know!

  1. Choosing to follow God has given me peace because I am walking in his will.

  2. Yes, peace.... When I do what He wants me to, God gives me peace (that passes all understanding)! I shared.

  3. Choosing to follow God changed my career to serving in children's ministry, completing a master's degree in children and family ministry and set me on a totally different course than I'd ever imagined. Choosing to follow God has taught me trust.

  4. Choosing to follow God has completely saved my life, cannot imagine a single moment without Him
