Fun Object Lesson for Jesus Feeding the 5,000!

It is not unusual for curriculum lines to put the Bible adventure of when Jesus fed the 5,000

in the Spring Scope and Sequence; so if you are teaching this lesson any time soon and would like a simple object lesson with a big, "wow" factor, consider trying this one . . . 

All you need is a sheet of paper and scissors. By cutting in a particular way (see link) you can cut a hole in an 8x11 piece of paper big enough for you to walk through! This seems unbelievable - just as Jesus feeding 5,000 people with a small boys, small lunch of five small loaves of bread and two small fish seemed unbelievable! But, when you cut in a particular way, you can make an opening big enough for you to walk through; while this is a fun "trick" what Jesus did was a real miracle!

Have fun with this and leave the children in your class amazed - then amaze them even more with what Jesus did!
