Young Women of Faith Bible - I'm Giving One Away!

There are several truly important things we want to see happen in our children's ministries; most important, of course, is to have children choose to put their trust in Jesus! We also want to see children develop a deep love for God's Word, so today I want to share with you a Bible for young women; girls eight and up, which will help them do exactly this!

The Young Women of Faith Bible is a great first study Bible for young girls as it will help them learn to read and focus on understanding and living God's Word! If parents ask you what Bible might help their daughters do these things, definitely suggest they take a look at the Young Women of Faith Bible!

I'm very happy to say, not only did Zonderkidz send me one Young Women of Faith Bible for review, but they are making another available for me to give away (USA only)!  If you are over the age of 18 and would like to be included in the drawing for this Bible - which will be on April 5, 2014, please comment below to share a passage in the Bible which God has used to encourage you and help you know Him more! For me it is Psalm 86; I love the entire chapter, but especially verses 11-13, "Teach me your way, Lord, that I may rely on your faithfulness; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name. I will praise you, Lord my God, with all my heart; I will glorify your name forever. For great is your love toward me; you have delivered me from the depths, from the realm of the dead." God loves us and is always faithful; we can have a faithful and undivided heart filled with His praise!

In addition if you have followed on Google Friend Connect, followed by liking on facebook with the tab in the "Find us on Facebook" box ON THE BLOG or at this link (not just liking the post) and/or have followed About the Children's Department by email you will receive one entry for each of these which you have done. Plus, if you "share" this post, you'll receive another entry (please let me know if you share). This will help me be able to draw names from among people who would like to win the Young Women of Faith Bible and it gives you several ways to enter the give-away! Thank you for reading About the Children's Department and for sharing it with the people you know!

  1. I would love to share this with a girl in my ministry! The first encouraging passage that came to mind this morning was Psalm 27: 1-2 The Lord is my light and my salvation whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life - of whom shall I be afraid? I follow you on Facebook and follow you on my Feedly Reader.

  2. Wow, so many passages I can chose. Right now, it would be Psalm 112:1

Praise the LORD! How joyful are those who fear the LORD and delight in obeying his commands.

I need to be joyful in the Lord, not because of what He does. But because I need to have a fear of Him, and obey His commands.

I follow on Google Friend, and Facebook, and email, and also shared this post.

  4. One f my favorites is Proverbs 3:5-6. It reminds me that the Lord will direct my paths, sometimes I dont know where he is taking me but I need to trust him fully. He knows what is best.
