There certainly are no shortage of Bibles on the market today; for children and for adults. But a new Bible from Zonderkidz; The Jesus Bible, is one which will help children - and adults - see how Jesus "shows up" in every book of the Bible!

Zonderkidz says, "The birth, life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ have all been foretold in the Old Testament. But trying to uncover and understand the prophecies about Christ can be daunting. The Jesus Bible, NIV, is an exciting new resource for kids ages eight and up to help them explore the prophecies and scriptural references to Christ's coming, ministry, crucifixion and resurrection throughout each book of the Bible."

Available in hardcover and two soft Italian Duo-Tone covers, The Jesus Bible is the perfect Bible for children to use to discover Who Jesus Is! This Bible is perfect for them to use for note-taking and underlining/highlighting as they learn how to study God's Word!

I'm very happy to say, not only did Zonderkidz send me one, The Jesus Bible for review, but they are making another available for me to give away (USA only)!  If you are over the age of 18 and would like to be included in the drawing for this Bible - which will be on April 21, 2014, please comment below to share a Biblical prophecy about Jesus which really stands out for you; for me it is both Isaiah 7:14 and Isaiah 9:6 . . . "Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel." I love how Jesus' very name, Immanuel, reminds me why He came; to be God with me and, "For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." I am amazed how Jesus came to be our Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father and Prince of Peace!

  1. For me it is Jeremiah 33:3
Ask me and I will tell you remarkable secrets you do not know about things to come.

    Or:
Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.'

Whenever I call on Jesus and God, I know He will answer, and tell me things which I never knew.

I follow on Google Friend Connect, and also like on Facebook. I also follow by email.

    And I also shared it.

  2. This would be great to use in my children's ministry. One prophecy that stands out to me is I Thessalonians 4:16-17 "For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 4. Blessed is the one who reads the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it. Revelation 1:3
