Connect with CM Connect!

I've been writing about CM Connect and have encouraged you to join, if you have not already done so. I have said, and truly believe, it is one of the best things you can do for yourself and your ministry. This is true if you are a paid or volunteer in your children's ministry.

Today I want to share one of the reasons I believe CM Connect is such a "must-do" when it comes to children's ministry. It is in it's name . . . CM Connect helps you "connect" with others across the country and around the world who also serve in the children's ministry in their churches. I have been able to do this; and as I wrote earlier, when I was literally stuck at my home for months at a time due to health issues, this was a life-line for me!

There are several ways for you to connect with others . . . 

• First, you are able to set up your own "profile", which serves in a way similar to a facebook page.
• Once you have your profile set up, you can send "friend requests" to others you meet on CM Connect - and begin to connect with them!
• You will see discussions, blog posts and groups on the main page of CM Connect and you can join in the conversations on all of these!
• Every Tuesday at 2pm Eastern Time, there is a "chat" - this is one of the best ways to begin to connect with others - you can be absolutely certain those who are there chatting, will be delighted to "meet" you and welcome you to CM Connect!
