Sneak Peek VBS 2015 - Thailand Trek, Everest & Hometown Nazareth from Group Publishing

I am very happy to let you know about two more VBS resources for 2015 - this time from Group Publishing. While we all know Group puts out a two engaging VBS resources each year; and I fully expect Everest and Hometown Nazareth to be excellent VBS resources from Group, in 2015 they have a new VBS which I find very intriguing! Check these scopes . . .

Group says; "At Cross Culture Thailand Trek VBS, you’ll share the sights, sounds, smells, and tastes of one unique culture with kids in your community, while helping them discover God’s eternal love for the world! The result? Confident, faith-filled kids who understand the power of Jesus’ love in a diverse world."
And, "Embark on an icy expedition where kids overcome obstacles with God's awesome power. Anchor kids in rock-solid Bible truths that will guide them through life's challenges. At Everest vacation Bible school, kids experience God's Word in surprising and unforgettable ways! Each day, leaders reinforce one simple Bible truth—which makes it easy for kids to remember and apply to real life!"
  1. Jesus had a Family - We do, Too! - Luke 1:26-38 - Mary is chosen to be Jesus' mother!
  2. Jesus had a Name - We do, Too! - Luke 2:1-40 - Jesus is born and gets His name!
  3. Jesus had a Home - We do, Too! - Matthew 2:13, 14, 19-23 - Jesus' Family Escapes to Egypt!
  4. Jesus went to Church - We do, Too! - Luke 2:41-52 - Jesus went to the Temple!
  5. Jesus served Others - We do, Too! - John 2:1-12 - Jesus does a Miracle in Cana!
And, "Hear stories about Jesus’ childhood from the best source of all…his mom, Mary! Everyone knows what it’s like to hear your mom tell stories from your childhood. Can you imagine the kinds of stories Mary could tell? Take your kids back to Hometown Nazareth, where they’ll stand up for their faith among people who doubt that the carpenter’s son is really God’s son."

I'm looking forward to the opportunity to sit down and look through these new kits from Group; I love the idea of Thailand Trek which will immerse children in another culture and widen their view of God's love for the world! Excellent idea from Group for a new resource which will do these things in a way which engages children! Everest looks like a fun, new setting and I expect it will be a lot of fun! Hometown Nazareth is a resource which we have seen before, but it is one of Group's best Holy Land Adventure resources and is a truly excellent resource.

It looks like 2015 will be a year filled with excellent VBS resources - you will want to consider how you can use all of these in your ministry! Find out more about all three at this link. Please plan to join me in January 2015 for my full reviews!
