Surf's Up! Children's Ministry Resources Around the Web . . . CM Connect!

I remember years ago when I began serving in children's ministry . . . resources were limited and unless you knew someone from another church or attended a convention, there was virtually no way to communicate with people from other churches from around the country - and most certainly not with people from around the world. Thankfully this is no longer the case! With the internet, resources, ideas and information as well as encouragement and answers to our questions are literally at our fingertips! Now is the perfect time to commit to "connecting" with others who serve in CM!  You do not have to do this on your own!

Today I want to share with you what I consider to be one of the essential websites for everyone in children's ministry . . . CM Connect. Whether you are serving as a paid staff or volunteer in children's ministry, this is one of the sites you really need to check out and become a part of.

When you visit CM Connect you will be walked through the steps to set up your own profile page which you may personalize with your photo, information about you and your ministry and so much more! From there you will be able to "connect" with others in children's ministry from across town, across the state, or the country and around the world! You will be able to write and post your own blog entries, begin discussions with others in children's ministry, join groups, read other's blogs, find out about jobs, conferences, events and one of my favorite things - take part in chats on Tuesdays! (By the way, today - June 17th - is Tuesday, so swing by and join in the conversation! at 2pm EDST)

The others on CM Connect are so willing to get acquainted, pray for you, share ideas, information and answer questions . . . you will find the encouragement CM Connect makes available to be one of the best things about this site and will discover becoming part of CM Connect is one of the best things you ever do for yourself and your ministry! If you are not familiar with CM Connect, take a moment to check this site out . . . you will absolutely be glad you did!
