My grandson Josiah loves to play hide-and-seek . . . did I say "loves"??? No, it is more like he "LOVES" to play hide-and-seek! He has loved this game since he was able to walk! He loves to hide and then he loves being found, but I think it is the "being found" part he loves the most - when he was two and three he nearly always told us where he was "hiding"! He would say things like, "I'm going to hide under the table and you can count; then you can come and find me!" and when we finished counting and said, "Oh where, oh where could our sweet Josiah be? Is he under the table?" He would always say, "No! I'm hiding in the closet!!!" Plus, if we take too "long" to "find" him, he will make little sounds . . . to "help" us find him! Then when we find him, he laughs, gives us a hug and we do it all over again . . . and again . . . and again! Did I mention he "LOVES" playing hide and seek??!!! We may get too big to play hide-and-seek - unless we are playing with our children or grandchildren - but I believe we all want to be "found". As you interact with the children in your ministry, your family, friends and the people in your life, be sure to take a moment to "find" others. Help them know you noticed them and are thankful for them. And, most importantly, aren't you so glad God "found" us?!!! In Luke 19:10 Jesus said, "For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” I'm so glad Jesus came to "find" me! Be sure to share this amazing news of how Jesus came to "find" us with the children in your ministry and with the people in your life . . . I absolutely want my grandsons to know this!
