ZonderKidz says; "Faith is like a flower. In order to grow, it needs soil, water, and sun—food for the spirit. That’s just what this devotional is. Spiritual food to help your faith grow strong and beautiful. Featuring 365 days of wisdom from your favorite Faithgirlz! authors, as well as quotes and questions from real girls like you, this devotional offers pages of inspiration on everything from navigating friendships, to taming the tongue, to trusting God in everything, big and small. Growing up can be tough, but Jesus is guiding you every step of the way. The Beauty of Believing combines the talents of Faithgirlz! authors Tasha K. Douglas, Mona Hodgson, Kristi Holl, Lois Walfred Johnson, Allia Zobel Nolan, and Nancy Rue, and their words of wisdom will help your faith bloom and flourish as you grow into the girl God wants you to be."
I think this is a great devotional for young girls and makes an excellent tool to help them learn to turn to God's Word for the answers to the questions they have and to find strength, wisdom, and encouragement! If I had a granddaughter, she would definitely be getting this book!
I'm very happy to say, not only did ZonderKidz send me one The Beauty of Believing for review, but they are also making one available for me to give away! (USA only) If you are over the age of 18 and would like to be included in the drawing for The Beauty of Believing - which will be on October 10, 2014, please comment below to let me know your favorite Bible verse/passage which you would write a devotional on if you had the opportunity to do so. I'd write one for John 21:25, "Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written." This may seem like an unusual verse to write a devotional on, but it tells me there were a lot of people - more than we read of in the Gospels, who Jesus helped. He continues to help people today, so if the world could have been filled with books written about all the people He helped when He was on the earth 2000 years ago, just imagine how many more books there would be today! And the books are still being written . . . and they include the books about how God is working in all of our lives right now! How exciting!

John 1:16 From the fullness of his grace we have all received one blessing after another.
