Book Reviews - Dare U 2 Open This Book & Just Sayin' - I'm Giving One Away!

I get sent a lot of books each year to review - some are excellent, some, not so much. But, the other day Zonderkidz sent me two books for children 8 to 12 years old which I love and am very happy to let you know about! Dare U 2 Open This Book is a unique devotional for guys and Just Sayin' is for girls - if you are looking for a devotional which you can recommend to the families in your ministry; definitely take a look at these two books! Let's take a closer look at both of them . . .

I totally agree! As a grandma, I look for books which my grandsons will want to spend time with to help them get into God's Word . . . Dare U 2 Open This Book is a book which I believe will do this! While my Josiah is only six, he reads like crazy, has a great vocabulary and does a lot of serious thinking; Dare U 2 Open This Book will be under the Christmas tree for him this year! I love how the devotions are short - just the right length to engage an elementary-age boy or girl. I love how the questions are focused to encourage children to really think about what God's Word says and how it lives in their lives. And, the space to doodle is not only fun, but an excellent way to help children think  about and express what they are learning and thinking! These are devotionals which will be read, doodled in and which will impact the lives of boys and girls!
