I've been writing about being thankful and expressing our thanks to God; intentionally. So,
today I want to ask you, what are you thankful for? When it comes to your ministry, what are you thankful for? When it comes to your life, what are you thankful for?
It is far too easy to become so focused on the day-in-day-out busyness of serving in our children's ministries that we do not even stop to think about, let alone express, our thanks to God. We do ask God for a lot of things, but do we make thanking Him a priority?
So, today, I want to thank God and ask you what you are thankful for as well. First, I'm thankful for how God is directing as we write our own curriculum for Sunday mornings! I'm looking forward to seeing how God will use it to help children trust and follow HIm for the rest of their lives! I'm also thankful for the many amazing volunteers He has given our children's ministry!
On a personal level, I'm so thankful for how God is working in my grandsons's lives to draw them to Him! My six-year old grandson can read and the other day when I was at his house he showed me what he is currently reading - a Bible!!! My heart is so happy! Thank You, God!
So, what are you thankful for in your ministry and in your own life?
