Look Forward to 2015

Happy New Year, everyone! I'm not big on New Year's resolutions, but I am all for setting goals. As you look at 2015, consider the following questions -
  • What are some of the goals you have for your own walk with God?
  • What are some of your goals you have for your family?
  • What are some of your goals for your ministry?
Take some time today to consider these questions because they all connect. The relationship you have with God will determine and greatly effect the relationship with your family which will effect the relationship with your ministry. Consider making this your prayer for 2015 -
Psalm 37:30,31,34,37,39,40 - “30The mouths of the righteous utter wisdom, and their tongues speak what is just. 31 The law of their God is in their hearts; their feet do not slip. 34 Hope in the LORD and keep his way. He will exalt you to inherit the land;  37 Consider the blameless, observe the upright; a future awaits those who seek peace. 39 The salvation of the righteous comes from the LORD; he is their stronghold in time of trouble. 40 The LORD helps them and delivers them; he delivers them from the wicked and saves them, because they take refuge in him.”(NIV)
Prayer –
Dear God, on this day, I choose to use my mouth to utter wisdom and my tongue to speak what is just. I choose to have the law of God in my heart so my feet will not slip! I put my hope in the LORD and keep His way and I will pay attention to and learn from those who follow God because I know a future awaits those who seek peace . . . I choose to seek peace! I thank You for my salvation and find strength in knowing You are my stronghold in times of trouble. I praise You for helping and delivering me; for saving me because I take refuge in You! Thank You! Amen!
