birthday month give-away - Bash and the Chocolate Milk Cows

I have recently been invited to review the newest "Bash" book . . . and since my grandsons are big "Bash fans", I of course, said, "Yes!". Along with reviewing this book, I get to give one away on my other blog - grandma's cookie jar, so first, my review . . .

Favorite Features -

• The return of "laugh-out-loud" silliness in a story children will not only enjoy, but learn from as well!
• The story gives grandparents/parents the opportunity to talk with children about important messages - this time about Baptism and telling others about Jesus
• Great book for families to read through together at bedtime - my son reads Bash books a chapter or two at a time to the boys at bedtime! This is a wonderful way for younger children to enjoy the stories about Bash.

I am sure my grandsons will enjoy Bash and the Chocolate Milk Cows, after all, what isn't there to enjoy about a book which combines Bash and April Fool's Day?! I even love the names of the chapters . . . such as; The Expedition of the Mighty Frog Hunters, The Chicken Shuttle Space Coop, Eggs in Flight and the Great Frog Escape! When you have chapters with such fun names, the story has to be enjoyable! 

I'm so glad Bash and the Chocolate Milk Cows combines great story-telling, a solid message and fun because not only will my grandsons enjoy the time with their dad as they read through this story together, but they will be reminded reading is wonderful and will learn important lessons at the same time! I love how they refer to the Bible in Bash and the Chocolate Milk Cows - The Farmin' and Fishin' Book, "because, its all about farmers and fishermen and how God wants to plant good seeds in us, and weed out the bad stuff, and help us to grow the Fruit of the Spirit, and to be fishers of people to tell them about Jesus so they can be farmers, too." Bash and the Chocolate Milk Cows is definitely a book we can let our grandchildren read and know they will enjoy it and learn from it as well!
