- Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the door frames of your houses and on your gates.
- Do what God's Word says - talk about it. Again, this is a place where classes for adults can have a definite part to play.
- Encourage grandparents to tell their grandchildren how God has worked in their lives in the past and how He continues to do so today.
- Again, encourage grandparents to tell their grandchildren what they are learning from God's Word.
- Once again, encourage grandparents to ask their grandchildren what they are learning from God's Word.
- Challenge grandparents to look for ways to connect what they are doing with God and His Word.
- Remind them how essential it is for them to pay attention to what is happening in their grandchildren's lives - pray with them about school, friends and anything bothering them.
- And, yes, they can put verses which have special meaning to them on their walls or even wear shirts, jewelry with verses as reminders as well.
These are just a few ideas of how we can encourage and equip grandparents to remember God's Word by keeping it in their hearts - and maybe put some on their walls as well!
