What is Most Important to You & What Do You Want Curriculum to Do?

There is no shortage of curriculum resources available for churches to use in their children's ministries, so when it comes to choosing a curriculum for your ministry you need to know what is most important to you and what it is you really want curriculum to do.

What is most important to you? What do you want curriculum to do? I personally believe the most important thing in a children's ministry is for children to understand God's gift of Grace is for them! And so, clearly, I want curriculum to provide the opportunity for children to understand and respond to God's Grace! 

I also want curriculum to help children understand the truth of how God's Word is for them! It is not just for adults. Children can read God's Word! Children can understand God's Word! Children can live God's Word, so I want curriculum to get children to open their Bibles, read their Bibles and understand their Bibles.

And, for me, I want children to learn how to talk with God. I personally love praying Scripture to God, so a curriculum which engages children in learning to pray Scripture to God is a curriculum worth taking a good look at to see if it might be a good "fit"!
