Most of you have probably already held your VBS for 2015, but whether you have or not, the publishers have been announcing their VBS themes for 2016! I always enjoyed learning about what the themes were going to be for the next year . . . we used to have to wait until sometime in November to find out what they were going to be, but now the publishers usually announce by the end of July or August!So . . . in case you are curious about the themes for VBS 2016, take a look at some of what you will be able to choose from . . .
- Standard Publishing - Deep Sea Discovery - God is With Me Wherever I Go!
- Lifeway - Submerged - Finding Truth Below the Surface!
- Answers in Genesis - Ocean Commotion - Diving into Noah's Flood!
- Cokesbury - Surf Shack - Catch the Wave of God's Amazing Love!
As you can see, if you like "water" settings/themes, you will have a number of them to select from this year!
- Gospel Light - SonSpring Oasis - An Epic Bible Times Adventure!
- Group - Egypt - Joseph's Journey from Prison to Palace.
This year it looks like you will have two "bible times" VBS resources to look at if you are interested in this "setting/theme".
- Concordia Publishing House - Barnyard Round-Up - Jesus Gathers Us Together!
- Regular Baptist Press - Cow-a-bunga Farm! - Growin' with our Faithful God!
And, it looks like there are two farm "setting/theme" VBS options for 2016 as well!
If you are looking for a completely new and unique "setting/theme" you will want to look at two of Group's VBS resources . . .

As you can see, there are going to be some excellent VBS options for Summer 2016 . . . several familiar settings, but they tend to show up often because they make for a fun VBS setting and are easy to decorate your church to fit with the "setting/theme"!
