Dispatch Box #3 - International Children's Bible & Instant Bible Lessons for Toddlers

So far I've shared with you the Dispatch Vol. 3 Mini-Magazine, the Step Into My Shoes resource from Compassion and The Gospel Truth About Children's Ministry . . . three excellent resources, which in and of themselves make the Dispatch Box #3 totally worth it! But, there is more . . . much more . . . in box #3! Today I'm very happy to share with you the International Children's Bible and Instant Bible Lessons for Toddlers! Like I said, there is much, much more in box #3!

International Children's Bible
Publisher - Tommy Nelson
Ages - 7-10

Favorite Features -
  • Easy to understand - written at a third grade reading level.
  • Highlights more than 300 key Bible verses to help children focus on primary Bible truths.
  • Topical index will help children find specific passages which relate to topics children want to learn about.
  • Larger font - makes it easier to read.
  • Bold words in-text indicate the word can be found in the dictionary to help children understand what they are reading.
  • Colorful illustrations throughout will help children picture Bible events.
Tommy Nelson says; "The International Children's Bible®, the first Bible translation created specifically for children, has been updated and newly typeset in a large readable layout with a third grade reading level, this is the Bible children can read and understand. The Bible text is set in ten-point type, with bold in-text subject heads which help children easily find the passages they are looking for. Also included are boldface words which correspond with a dictionary and concordance entry to explain word definitions. A great new feature in this updated setting is more than 300 verses which are highlighted throughout the Bible for kids to read and learn. The beautifully illustrated Bible story insert pages are in a style children love and will delight their imaginations as they read and “see” popular Bible events."

I love how this Bible is focused on being understandable for children. Far too often children do not even try to read the Bible, because they think they will not understand it. With the International Children's Bible, children will be able to understand and read God's Word for themselves! What could be better!
