Engaged Grandparents = Strong Supporters

I've been talking this week about how a Grandparenting Ministry connects with a Children's Ministry . . . engaged grandparents become faithful prayer warriors, focused on involving their grandchildren in the children's ministry and committed volunteers. Well, today I want to talk about one more way engaged grandparents can make a huge difference in the Children's Ministry - by being strong supporters of the Children's Ministry. 

There are likely times in your Children's Ministry when you may wonder if there are any people in your church who are really behind you; who have your back and support the work you are doing. Well, when you have engaged grandparents who understand their role in passing on a heritage of faith to their grandchildren, they are much more likely to become strong supporters of the Children's Ministry, because they will understand how a strong Children's Ministry multiplies what they are trying to do with their grandchildren. These grandparents will care about what you do and will be there to encourage and support you as you work to reach children.

Can you imagine the impact on your Children's Ministry if you have committed, focused grandparents who value what you do and who fully support you and the Children's Ministry at your church?
