Thank You God - for Being Big & Able!

Aren't you so very glad God is bigger than we think and is able to do incredibly much more than we can even imagine?! I am! When it comes to children's ministry I'm so thankful God is bigger than I think and able to do so much more than I can imagine! Just think about the following areas where we tend to worry, but no longer need to do so since God is Big and Able . . . 

• Recruiting! God is big enough to send us all the people we need to serve in all the areas we need people to serve! As I've said, nobody cares more than God does if we have the people we need; they are there in our churches! Some of them know who they are and others have yet to discover they are people who God has put in the church to serve. This is okay because it allows us to go on a "treasure hunt" to find these gifts; these treasures from the hand of God! Since I know God is big enough to send the people we need, I do not have to worry or fret about recruiting! I can relax and trust Him . . . after all, God is bigger than I think and is able to do incredibly much more than I can even imagine; even when it comes to recruiting!
• Planning opportunities for ministry with children and families! God is big enough to help us know which opportunities we should pursue and which ones we should "pass" on.
• Budget! God is big enough and He is able to provide the funds we need for the ministry He wants us to pursue!

These are just a few of the areas where we can really trust God, because He is bigger than we think and is able to do incredibly much more than we can even imagine! I am so thankful for this truth, so in this month where we tend to focus on being thankful, I want to thank God for being Big and being Able! Thank You, God!
