Give the Gift of . . . Thankfulness!

We recently celebrated Thanksgiving, so we have been thinking about being thankful, but as you move into celebrating Christmas, make the commitment to continue to focus on being thankful! Consider the following . . .
  • Families have lots of options available to them when it comes to going to church . . . they could go to a different church, they could just stay home, but they have made the choice to allow their children to participate in your ministry . . . be sure to thank the children for coming and the parents for allowing them to do so!
  • Volunteers have lots of options available to them when it comes to where they will spend their time. They could volunteer elsewhere, or not at all, but along with all the other things they are doing in their everyday lives, they have made the choice to serve. Be sure to thank them for doing so!
  • Children could just sit and "endure" their time at church, but when you have children who participate, engage and are intentional about living what they learn . . . be sure to notice and thank them for doing so!
As you approach each Sunday and Wednesday, be ready and watching for opportunities to give the gift of thankfulness to the children, families and volunteers in your ministry.
