My Christmas Carol for today is, Joyful, Joyful We Adore Thee and this is what Christmas is all about - not the gifts, cookies or "fun" . . . it is about adoring Jesus and the joy He gives! Look at these lyrics . . . 

Joyful, joyful we adore Thee, God of Glory, Lord of love. Little Baby here among us, sent to Earth from God above! Melt the clouds of sin and sadness, drive the dark of doubt away. Giver of immortal gladness fill us with the light of day!

All Thy works with joy surround Thee, Earth and Heaven reflect Thy rays. Stars and angels sing around Thee, center of unbroken praise! Field and forest, vale and mountain, flowery meadow, flashing sea; singing bird and flowing fountain call us to rejoice in Thee! 

These tiny hands created everything. These eyes have seen eternity. These little ears have heard the angels sing. This little baby is here to rescue me!
