Two Free Resources for Parents - and Grandparents!

If we are serious about equipping parents and grandparents, so they are able to be the primary teachers, leaders and disciplers of their children, then we need to be "sharers of resources"! Let your parents - and grandparents - know of resources which provide information, ideas and tools which they might take advantage of as they strive to lead their children/grandchildren. So, today I have two free resources you could let the parents and grandparents in your ministry know about!

• grandma's cookie jar . . . this is a free blog (actually, it is my other blog) which is, "full of good ideas, information, activities and reviews of things to help grandma . . . and grandpa, mom and dad too . . . pass on a heritage of faith to the children in their lives!" The parents and grandparents in your ministry will find book, music, and movie reviews with a focus on the messages in these things and how they can have "teaching moments" with their children/grandchildren as they read, listen to, and watch the media of today. They will also find ideas for crafts and recipes they can make with their children/grandchildren and again, will most often find suggestions about how to connect what they are doing with God and His Word! In addition, there are lots of fun give-aways (I am currently offering an American Girl Doll giveaway) and things which make you smile, along with important things to pray about. • Are you looking for a simple way to link your family together spiritually? Do you long for some way to hep the families in your church link their families together as well? Well . . .
