Resurrection Sunday Craft

If you ask, most people will say Christmas and birthdays are two of their favorite days in the year, but one of my favorite days is Resurrection Sunday! Without it, we would have no hope. Look at I Corinthians 15:13-22,
"If there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised. And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith. More than that, we are then found to be false witnesses about God, for we have testified about God that he raised Christ from the dead. But he did not raise him if in fact the dead are not raised. For if the dead are not raised, then Christ has not been raised either. And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins. Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ are lost. If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are of all people most to be pitied. But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man. For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive." We have hope because Jesus rose from the dead!
So, if you are looking for a craft you could use with the children in your ministry to help them celebrate the resurrection of Jesus, take a look at this fun craft I found on Pinterest! All you need is paper plates, craft sticks, cardstock, scissors, glue, paint or crayons/markers and printables - which you will find a pdf for at this link

As you make this craft with the children, be sure to talk with them about why Jesus came and what He did on the cross. Lead them in praising God for the resurrection and thanking Him for the hope it gives us! All the religious leaders of all the other religions from around the world through all time are dead and in their graves - Jesus is alive! He rose from the dead to "make us alive" and give us hope!
