My Top Five Ways to Show Love to the Children in Our Ministries - #5 Say It!

Children's Ministries and "love" go hand-in-hand and showing this love to the children should be something which is obvious for all to see, but today I thought I'd start to share with you my Top Five Ways to Show Love to the Children in Our Ministries . . . my #5 way to do this is . . . 

• Say it. We tell them we love them. Of course, keep this appropriate and in the bounds of our child safety policies, but the children in our ministries need to know - and hear they are loved.

Remember - and be sure your volunteers are aware as well, there are children who do not hear these words from the adults in their lives. They need to hear them from us. We absolutely want the children in our ministries to know the people who lead and teach in their Children's Ministry, most certainly loves them. We say it and do so regularly!
