Equip Parents/Grandparents to Hand Down Confident Faith

When it comes to teaching children in your church, you likely use curriculum to help you teach effectively - whether you write it yourself or buy it from a publisher. Children's Ministry leaders often tell parents/grandparents to hand down confident faith at home, but many of these parents/ grandparents do not know how to do this. When they do not know what to do to hand down confident faith at home, most, if not all, of them will do nothing - other than bring them to church.

This is why it matters for you to equip them when it comes to handing down confident faith. If you as the leader of the Children's Ministry in their church recommend resources, and even better, have a plan to work through it together with them, they are significantly more likely to hand down confident faith to the children they love. Since parents are the most influential people in the lives of the children in your ministry - and grandparents are the second most influential people in children's lives, when you equip them to hand down confident faith, the impact on children is significant.

There are not many resources out there which are designed to help parents and grandparents hand down confident faith, but there is one which you are able to use with the families in your church to engage children and make this lasting impact - the Life on the Goldilocks Planet curriculum/book series. This series was written to engage children with full-color maps and photos, fun, interesting facts about the planet upon which we live and some of the animals on it - many they may not have ever heard of before! There are also fun, engaging activities - science projects, art projects, recipes, games and more to help make the point stick, along with quotes from scientists and questions to help families think about how animals show us why we are able to believe in God and trust Him with confidence!

This series is designed to generate conversations which will enable parents and grandparents to hand down a confident faith!

Print copies of the books - there are four in the series so far - are available on Amazon and in our bookstore, but I have a special offer for churches to make this curriculum/book series extremely affordable. If you will email me - lyndagcj@gmail.com and tell me how many families in your church will be using this curriculum to hand confident faith to the children they love, I will email you an invoice for $1 per family per book ($3 per family if you want to use the book which has all four books in one - which means you are buying three books and getting one book free.) So, for example. if you have 20 families in your church and choose to use book three with them, I will send you an invoice for $20 which will give you the digital rights to use the digital book I email you with 20 families. You could have families pay fifty cents each to cover half the cost, or the full $1 each, or just consider it an investment by your church in the families, but regardless, this makes this resource extremely affordable.

What will you do with this curriculum resource? Give the families in your church a digital copy and then schedule time for your church as a whole to go through the book together. Set a date to start and week one, have everyone work through the first chapter in their homes. Connect on-line during the week to ask families what they learned, what was most important, what conversations they had. Encourage them to share photos of their family doing the activities together. Week two, move on to chapter two and do the same things. As families learn together and have important conversations, they will be building confident faith in the children they love - and in themselves as well!

This series will help you answer the questions of the parents and grandparents in your church when it comes to how they hand down confident faith to the children they love. Why wouldn't you give it a try with the families in your church?

Look what people are saying about this book series . . .

Lynda has a winner here and shes done all the hard work to provide us parents and grandparents with an incredible tool to build the faith of our legacy. These beautiful and educational books will equip us to fulfill Gods mandate in Psalm 71 to declare Gods power to the next generation, His might to all who are to come.

Lynda is a genius when it comes to bringing God's Word alive to children. She is a grandmother who understands the importance of the role she plays in her grandchildren's lives. Her books are made for grandparents to open God's Word through animals and living things which interest little kids. and big kids too.

Psalm 19 reminds us if we study creation, we see God more clearly. Ive never seen a book as remarkable as this one which ties exploration of Gods creation with the language of children and activity, to produce a compelling statement about the majesty of God. When I read it, I feel like Im somehow entering a new world. Im sure itll be an incredible resource.

I LOVE this little book you have created. What a great and powerful tool for shaping young minds to see and acknowledge the truth about Gods creation. Well done. Every parent and grandparent ought to have this tool in their toolkit to teach the truth about creation and evolution. This is a marvelous tool I want to let every grandparent know about. Thank you for taking time with your grandsons to create this extraordinary piece.
