God Does Not Forget; Neither Should We!

The other day I shared a verse in Hebrews with you which I want to look at again today - Hebrews 6:10 "God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them." 

Think about it! While people may not always make choices which are fair and just; God always does! While people may "forget" what you do and forget your work and service; God never does! It can be discouraging when people "forget" you; but it is encouraging to know God remembers!

And, this verse should serve to challenge and remind us to pay attention so we are fair and just to others. So we do not forget the work and service others give. We need to be people who follow the example God sets in valuing the service of others; not just with words, but with our actions, because when our actions do not back up our words, our words become empty and meaningless.

So, remember God is just and He remembers what we do and He remembers what others do to show love and serve Him!
